Okay, so it's been awhile, but there hasn't been a whole lot to post about, just the same muundane things going on. Well, that is besides the 4th of July and the trip down to St. George. We had a blast and wish we could spend more time down there with family, but you know how it is! Someday, maybe we'll end up back down there...
Anyway, I didn't get any pictures of the trip but since it's been awhile since I posted pictures of Zaylee, I will post a couple that Kasey took of her for her one year birthday. Someday, if I get around to it, I will do a slide show of all the photos she took, but the three above are my favorites so for the meantime they'll have to do (sorry to all of you who've already seen them!).
Also, I guess I can tell you about the weird little encounter we had the other day as well. We were at Barnes and Noble browsing around and this lady comes up to us and asks if she can ask us some questions about our baby. We say sure. So, she asks how old Zaylee is...we tell her...then, she asks us if we have ever considered putting her in commericals. She was from a talent agency and wanted to know if we would be interested in having her audition with them. The lady said that Huggies was just here and they didn't have any babies so they've been looking for some to audition for when they come back in town. I'm was pretty hestitant about it so she just gave me her card and told us to think about it. Alex thinks it would be interesting to see what would happen, I on the other hand, think that even if she did make the cut, I have no interest in a child celebrity....so, who knows. Funny though huh!

totally true story: i used to work for a lady in provo that had a daughter in texas. her daughter had this super cute baby and while at the supermarket someone approached her about taking photos of her and her son for one of the diapers brands (pampers i think). anyways, her son and her ended up on all the pampers boxes AND she got free diapers for like a year! good luck!
What cute pictures for Zaylee. I can't believe how big she is. Now that I'm up here I need to come visit. Of course she is cute enough to model a diaper :)
Free diapers for a year would be cool! Maybe you should do it! :)
You wouldn't have a child celebrity for very long...Zaylee would grow up and then no one would recognize her anymore!
Besides, I was in a commercial when I was 4, and look how I turned out! No harm done! :) OK, you can stop the sarcastic remarks now...
But free diapers...great incentive!
Awww, she looks like such a sweetheart! I love her big eyes. She's getting so big and I'm sure is acting so grown up sometimes!
Hope all is well with you.
Hi Nicole! She is sooo adorable. thanks for all your prayers and kind notes about Cara. She is great! Zaylee is very very cute... I could definitely see her in commercials! -Deb
Hi!
You don't know me, but today I was googling the name Zaylee because I really like it and I came accross your blog. I just couldn't leave without letting you know that I think your daughter is absolutely adoreable! Honestly, she's the cutest baby I've ever seen! (even cuter than my baby sister, and she's pretty cute.)
Anyway, I won't waste any more of your time.
All the best!
