Setting the table

The other morning Zaylee was helping make breakfast and I decided to see what she would do if I gave her everything to set the table. I think she did a pretty great job! (Don't mind all of the boxes and stuff...she didn't do that part-that's just my messy table.)

18 Months Plus a little

I'm a little slow posting about Zaylee turning 18 months, but we just had her doctors appointment yesterday so that's a good reason for posting almost 3 weeks late, right? The doctor said that she is doing really good and is right where she needs to be. She weighed 23.9 pounds and was 32 3/4 inch tall. If I remember right she was in the 30 something percentile on weight and 46th on height. She did so good with him. He's impressed about her stranger anxiety...she really doesn't have it too much!

Last week was her first week at nursery all by herself since she had cold her first week and then we were out of town. She did SO good!!! I took her in and she immediately ran to where the toys were (it's helped that we've taken her in a little here and there prior to her actually being 18 months). When I left she didn't even care and stayed the whole two hours without any incidents! I was SO happy!! When we got home I was asking her questions about it and she just couldn't stop jibber-jabbering! I didn't understand a word of it but she was sure excited!

Anyway, she would not pose for a picture for me, so after chasing her around the house trying to get her to settle for just a second this was the best I got! I can't believe how big she is getting!!
